Sleepovers and Little Squirt

This weekend was very busy. I stayed at Nana and Grampys house with Mommy while Daddy went to something called a Bachelor Party (he says he'll explain it to me when I"m older!). Nana and Grampy had a crib set up for me (it's been in Mommy's family for YEARS) and a rocking chair. Mommy said it was very weird to be in the bedroom she slept in as a little girl with her baby.

I slept like an angel...at least until I was hungry again!!!

This is Mommy's favorite romper. It has a little blue whale on it and and says "little squirt". Mommy loves it because the first day I wore it was to my first check-up and I "squirted" on the nurse while she was trying to weigh me!!!

Do You Know the Monkey Man.....

I just LOVE this outfit. Daddy picked it out to bring our little man home from the hospital in. Then Mommy went on Ebay and got the next size up so he could wear it longer. There is nothing cuter than giant monkey paw slippers!!!!

Today

Today Mommy and I went to our "Mommy and Me" class. It's lots of fun, there are many cute babies and Mommy gets some great advice and tips to help her take care of me. Isn't my outfit cute? It's one of Mommy's favorites, it was a gift from someone who works with Daddy.

What do you mean I weigh 11lbs 1oz?? That's not fat, I was wearing my diaper man!!!

I also had a bath...I was very upset, but I look very cute in my warm and comfy towel that Auntie Amy got for me.

Birthday Buddy

This is a picture of me and my new buddy Nick. Nick and I share the same birthday ( I am 30mins older!!!). Isn't he cute. Mommy calls him a little peanut, it's hard to believe we're the same age. This is Nick's mommy Kristina. I think he looks just like her. She's very nice, she gave me some good cuddles while Mommy held Nick. I hope we have lots of play dates together and grow up to be friends.

My First Bath

I had my first bath today. Ok. technically it was my third bath, I had one in the hospital and two little sponge baths at home, but this was my first full fledged bath in my fun tub.

Daddy did an excellent job getting me clean. I actually enjoyed most of the bath, except for when Mommy washed my hair, I didn't like that too much. Mommy tried to take more pictures, but the camera battery died.

What is Softball??

Today we went to watch Daddy's softball practice. I"m not sure what Softball is, but Daddy enjoys it and Mommy says we'll be going to lots of games this summer. All I know is I look very cute in my baseball outfit and Daddy is very comfy to cuddle.

I've been in this big bad world for a whole week (or I will have been at 10:18). Things are going well. Life is pretty good...I eat alot, sleep and get lots of cuddles from Mommy, Daddy and all the visitors that come by.

Hi.....I'm Fluff......

Hello World....My name is Mikhail Richard, but most of you know me as "Fluff". I know you have been waiting to meet me, but I was very comfortable. I was born on Thursday, April 5th at 10:18 by c-section.

The whole experience was very traumatic for me..,

Aren't we a beautiful family... This is my Uncle Johnny and his daughter Malyna, Mommy says we're betrothed (whatever that means)

This is my Auntie Megan, shes stayed with us for a little. She was great, she cuddled me a lot and helped Mommy and Daddy.

When we got home , these two fuzzy things keep staring at me, it was so RUDE.

This floppy eared thing is kind of annoying, it keeps trying to eat me, but Mommy and Daddy say she's just protecting me.

It's been such a tough experience, and there is so much to see and do out here in the world, but for now....I think I'm gonna go take a nap (just like mommy and daddy)

He's Here!!!!

Mikhail made his debut on Thursday April 5th at 10:18 pm, 9pds 4oz, 20 inches.

Mom, Dad and baby doing very well. They're at Elliot Hospital in Manchester NH, room 353.

How much more nothing can one person take

We went for our induction and nothing happened. Tried to get me to dilate, it didn't work. So they sent me home. So here I am...now we wait...

will update is something ever happens.....

Status

Went to the Dr. today and not much has changed. I am going in tomorrow at 7am to be induced. We will send out a message/email as soon as Fluff has entered the world.

For those of you who wish to visit us at the Hospital, you are always welcome. Visiting hours are 12-8. The hospital is located off exit 6 on 93.

The only time I would advise people to NOT come is from 1:30 - 2:30. During this time Elliot has a Maternity Ward "Quiet Hour", were hospital traffic is limited, all the lights are turned down and it is a peaceful bonding time for families.

The next post should include pictures of Fluff....wish us luck!

Update Update

So, nothing happened. I went to the dr. on Friday and had my ultrasound and non stress test and Fluff passed with flying colors. But still nothing. I have another appointment tomorrow and if nothing is progressing, I think they may induce on Tuesday. More to come.
