Happy Birthday Penny

It's hard to believe a whole year has passed since Penny was born. She has changed so much. She crawls up a storm, and walks when she thinks no one is looking. She says "Mama", "Dadda", "Nana" "Bub" (for Mikhail) and "Dat", which is her demand to know what everything is. She loves to be read too and has become a decent sleeper. She is without a doubt one of the happiest babies, always smiling with her chubby cheeks and laughing at the world. She is a true Princess and we are blessed to have her in our lives.

Penny's Procedure

Penny had her tear ducts opened on December 10. The whole procedure took less than 20 mins and her recovery was perfect. She no longer has icky goop in her eyes, is sleeping much better and is much happier!!

After an initial break down..Penny was loving Santa, especially the moose...Mikhail is still not 100% on board with the big guy...

Penny's Tear Ducts

When Penny was born, she had blocked tear ducts. This is a very common occurrence, Mikhail had it too, and normally it will clear up on it's on. We're going on 11months now, and Penny's right eye is still pretty bad. She wakes up some mornings looking like a one eye pirate. We have scheduled Penny to have her tear duct probed, sounds worse than it is, on December 1. She handled her pre-op today like a champ and charmed everyone in the office.
