I know have a new and profound respect for people who take pictures of children for a living...trying to get everyone organized for this years christmas card took some doing..here are some of the shots we got...maybe one will be THE ONE....

After an initial break down..Penny was loving Santa, especially the moose...Mikhail is still not 100% on board with the big guy...

Penny's Tear Ducts

When Penny was born, she had blocked tear ducts. This is a very common occurrence, Mikhail had it too, and normally it will clear up on it's on. We're going on 11months now, and Penny's right eye is still pretty bad. She wakes up some mornings looking like a one eye pirate. We have scheduled Penny to have her tear duct probed, sounds worse than it is, on December 1. She handled her pre-op today like a champ and charmed everyone in the office.

Fryburg Fair 2009

It's Penny's first time at the fair... She got to see the goats....

Sleeping Babies

Mikhail is our champion sleeper...Ellie has taken to curling up with him most nights. He can sleep through anything, which is wonderful because.... Penny is had a very hard time adjusting to sleeping through the night. From about 6months to just recently, she would go down easily enough, but wake up multiple times in the middle of the night screaming. We tried to cry it out, but at 3:00 a.m. , Momma just wanted to sleep. It was a trail, but she has shown marked improvement and has let Momma sleep at least 6 to 8hrs straight the last 3 nights! Way to go Princessa!

9 month check up

Penny had her 9month check up on October 13. She weighted in at 19lbs 130z and 20 inches. She is growing by leaps and bounds. She is crawling up a storm, says Mama, Dada, Nana and makes an weird BRRR sound when she sees Mikhail. She loves her animals and gets very excited to hear Baby Cakes and Brown bear, brown bear. Sleeping...well, we're still working on that one!
